Professor of Ophthalmology, Anglia Ruskin University

Appointed in July 2007 to the post of Professor of Ophthalmology, I have a role in developing new avenues of research and enhancing the training within the School of Optometry which is part of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Anglia Ruskin University.

Arrangements have been made for optometry students to train in clinical practice at the Ophthalmology Department of Hinchingbrooke Hospital, where medical students also undergo ophthalmology training. Research collaborations already exist between the Huntingdon Glaucoma Diagnostic & Research Centre and Moorfields Eye Hospital, and it is envisaged that further collaborations will ensue with Anglia Ruskin.
